Structure and function of marine stop valves

Marine stop valves are valve devices specifically manufactured for ships. They are made of corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel, brass, and cast steel, and come in two flange connection structures: straight-through (A/AS) and right-angle (B/BS). This product integrates both shut-off and check valve functions, and can operate stably under pressures of 1.0-6.4 MPa. It is suitable for various media, including freshwater, lubricating oil, fuel oil, and steam at 300-400℃. Through innovative protective components and optimized sealing structures, it solves the technical challenges of seawater corrosion and mechanical impact commonly encountered in marine environments.
The straight-through (A/AS) valve uses a horizontal flow path design, while the right-angle (B/BS) valve uses a 90° turning flow path. The flange connection dimensions conform to GB/T569, GB/T584-2008, and GB/T585-2008 standards. The opening and closing mechanism includes an adjustable limit device, and a U-shaped plate is fixed with mounting bolts to prevent accidental touching of the handwheel. The integrated shut-off and check valve structure can replace the traditional combination installation of a shut-off valve and a check valve, saving 40% of pipeline space.
